Jeyaprakash M, hails from Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. He completed his BFA in painting at government college of fine arts, Chennai. He has been part of art festivals and notable exhibitions in South India like Student exhibition for Tsunami Relief Fund (2004), Govt. college of fine arts, Chennai, “Chitra Santhe” (2004 – 2020), Banglore, “Art Street” (2009-2020), Coimbatore to name a few. He has participated in portrait camps to spread awareness of art in the interiors of Tamil Nadu namely, Tirunelveli (2004 -2006) and Villupuram (2005).
Jeyaprakash’s admiration towards people, portraits and figurative compositions inspired him to become a professional cum independent artist. In his paintings, he highlights the composition, lighting, colour, posture and character of materials. His aesthetic inclination towards South Indian Culture can be noticed in his works and he loves to capture unconventional photographic angles through his paintings.
